The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office arrested a Syracuse Firefighter accused of raping a child.
The sheriff's office said it charged Jeremy W. Warters, 25, with two counts of rape in the third degree and one count of endangering the welfare of a child. He was arrested on July 28.
The Onondaga County District Attorney's Office said Warters posted bail on Wednesday. He was previously jailed at the Onondaga County Justice Center.
The district attorney's office could not comment on Warters' current employment status with the Syracuse Fire Department.
