"Our Lives Depend on It: A Dillard Symposium on COVID and Health Disparities" was held November 16-19 by the Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Center (MHHDRC). Night number two featured Dr. Peter Fos and Dr. Peggy Honore.

Dr. Fos is an MHHDRC researcher and Honore is a professor at LSU Health Sciences Center. The two talk about the findings from their peer-reviewed article “The Relationship of Diabetes and COVID-19: A Health Disparity” for the Diabetes & its Complications journal. Dr. Katrina Kellum, from Dillard's College of Nursing, was also a co-author of the article.
