The Syma X1 quadcopter is great for beginners and experienced pilots thanks to it's fast/slow speed settings.
For less than $50 you can make your own floating RC quadcopter that will fly, float, and land on pretty much any terrain. The Syma X1 has two speeds (slow & fast). The Syma X1can also do flips by pressing a button on the controller. Attaching Ping Pong balls to the landing feet is easy! All you need is packing tape and balls. Just make sure you leave a little room for the gear so that it's not rubbing on the ball. When in the water or while landing in the water, keep the speed SLOW or else you'll flip your quadcopter. The balls create a lot of drag in the water and if you move too quickly in the water they will cause your Syma X1 to nose dive in the water.
