In this video I show the backup battery maintenance procedure on a SYIL X7 with the Syntec 22MA control.

These batteries are important because they help preserve machine data when the machine is powered down. If the backup batteries get too weak or fail, you risk losing information that you really don’t want to have to recover from scratch.

I show where the battery pack is located, how to access it, what the battery holder looks like inside, and the basic maintenance/replacement process.
