HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY, CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE BEEN YOUTUBING FOR AN ENTIRE DECADE!
This is a video from 2010 made in 2017 in the style of 2007.

The original main script for this was first written in 2009, the ending part that directly ties into the next episode was written in 2016.
Because this was made in the style of 2007, I wasn't allowed to use tools or special effects I couldn't use back then. This means no keyframes, no transparency, no motion blur, no layers, no shortcuts. This video was all made frame by frame, like how I would ten years ago. I also use random footage from the original games, like I had done back then.
I have actually intentionally reduced the quality of the video. Unfortunately, I've over done it, I was going to render this video at a max 480p, like it would of been seven years ago, but I had to render it at 720p, just so that it wouldn't be a complete blurry mess. It was entirely unviewable when rendered at anything less.
This episode ties the middle parts of my Swords of Sorrow series, and sets up episode 10 to begin to wrap up the entire thing. Originally, I had the idea of making this series 20 episodes long, not including the three castlevania specials. This means I only got 5/20 of the episodes I wanted to make. Episode 10, in this case, will try to smash 15 episodes together, in order for it to end in episode 11 or 12. I've been calling episode 10 the "clean up" episode during my planning phases for the future of this series. All lose ends will be eliminated entirely, leaving only the bare essentials when the episode sends. As of writing this, I haven't begun writing anything for episode 10, so I only vaguely know what I'm going to do with it.
I don't have any other scripts I've written in the past remaining, the one I used for this episode was the last one. I really hate that I wasted my time making a Final Fantasy Swords of Sorrow instead, I completely reconnected due to how garbage it was. I have extra scripts for that series, but not for the series I actually intend on finishing. If you want to know how that ends, I wrote the ending in it's playlist description. Additionally, the playlist will be the only way to find that series. I just want it to slowly disappear and never return. I won't link to it here, it's a waste of time, but it's a part of my past, so I refuse to delete it or revoke viewer access to it. It's still viewable, it's just more difficult to find.
Swords of Sorrow will end eventually, but not anytime soon. I honestly don't like working on this series anymore, I cringe so hard doing anything with it. Because I've ran out of scripts to use, I also really don't know what I wanted to do with the 15 other episodes. I know how I want to end it, but I also don't know if what I want now for the series is what I wanted back then.
Man, I have no idea what I was doing back then. I can't believe I was a sprite animator for only about three or four years. Felt longer than that. Blows me away when I consider I've been working on Touhou animations longer than the original reason why I created this channel to begin with. Seems like the non sense I was using to procrastinate my main series has become the main focus of my content.
And now my newer subscribers know why my email is named what it is, and why I added it to my video default to include it in every video I upload. It was originally intended on being a fan email, but it's never been advertised as such, and so, I've never gotten a single piece of fan mail for Swords of Sorrow, despite the original intention of creating it to begin with. I'm not sure if I had told anyone the origin of my email's name before.
