Switch Vertical / Horizontal AF Area: Sony Focus Menu Camera Settings
This setting (off by default) allows you to choose different focus area positions when the camera is in vertical and horizontal orientations. This ensures you are not constantly having to move the focus area each and every time you switch between vertical (portrait) and horizontal (landscape) formats.
