The Switch 2 Edition speedrun of Breath of the Wild is not at all what we expected. The upgraded FPS has had major impacts on how glitches work which has created an interesting dynamic where Master Mode has become the faster way to run it. This is a commentated sum of best video that'll explain the brand new route and cover why it's faster than normal mode on the S2E.

We got the 22:4X on day 76 of the grind! Its nice to be playing well and finally finishing out the good attempts Ive been having lately. This run is honestly very solid throughout with the only weak point being castle (seems to be a trend for me). This run was as good as it is because Klebs suggested a new Calamity strat where you skip the flurry rush (saves ~2 seconds optimally), and Theos new thunderblight p1 strat (also saves ~2 seconds from what I can tell). Not totally sure if Ill continue beyond this but Ill definitely be running TotK glitchless soon to prepare for SGDQ in July. Oh and happy birthday Req!
