One of the traditional Christmas treats in Switzerland (and other Euro countries) is the Grittibänz, a sweet bread man slightly resembling Santa or St. Nicholas. You'll see these in every bakery around town with many different forms. But it's fun to make your own with friends or family, so here's a super easy recipe and some tips for designing your bread man.
Ingredients:
500g flour
1.5 tsp salt
2 TB sugar
60 g unsalted butter
1 tsp yeast
300 ml milk
1 egg
