As 2010 came to a close it marked the end of an Era. The SD40-2 and C40-8 left railroads in mass numbers. New EMD and GE models rapidly came to replace the aging work horses of the railroads. Many old units were sidelined or reacquired by different roads. The tide is turning, and there isn't much time left for many of these diesels. Still, they trundle on, fate unknowingly hanging in the balance of their owners hands. 2010 marked a year of change. On top that, 2010 marked a year of amazing railfanning opportunities for the likes of me. This is just a small compilation of the best of 2010, enjoy.
