(also i created this au to give some bg on perhaps why appledusk went for birchface in the battle)
So appledusk and birchface start meeting eachother in secret, this is also while appledusk is meeting mapleshade, birchface found appledusk(while apple was waiting for maple) and questioned him about being so close to there border but with some charming words from appledusk they started to become friends, a few moons later birchface went to meet with appledusk but saw mapleshade with him instead and them snuggle, birchface lookes down sadly and waits for mapleshade to leave, he confronts appledusk and appledusk denies it and birchface breaks up there friendship, this hurts birchface because he had a small growing crush on him and he trusted appledusk, appledusk is paranoid that birch would expose him and mapleshade so at the sunning rocks battle he goes straight for birchface in an attempt to scare him into keeping his mouth shut but this back fires, birchface was so stunned that appledusk would attack him that his moves are a bit delayed and appledusk slashes him hard enough that he falls into the river and dies, appledusk is guilty for a minute but then riminds himself that he would've ruined his relationship with mapleshade and reedshine, birchface gets to judge appledusk when he dies and sends him to the dark forest for hurting him, mapleshade, and reedshine
