Since we were staying in Brooklyn during CMJ, we decided to kill some time at the Hamilton Fish Recreation Center on the Lower Eastside in NYC between our Manhattan shoots one day. There was really no point to take the subway back to Brooklyn for an hour only to have to make a trip back to the city. It was such a nice and quiet place that we invited SWF there to do his shoot.
The center is place for the public to come and play ping pong or play sports away from the hectic city outside. We found the center to be the ideal place for our shoot. Normally SWF plays a more plugged in, electric style but for our shoot he stripped down his song, "Turtle Brain".
