Sweet river abattoir was one of the most recent companies to be delisted from the Jamaica stock exchange. I know a lot of investors probably lost money when this happened as the shares could no longer be traded and the only way to get your money back was to approach the company directly.

However, the delisting of Sweet river was not something that happened overnight and a few events happen that could have been a wake up call for investors to exit the ill-fated company.
