Learn how to solo in the style of “Sweet Home Alabama” by mixing the sounds of G Major, E Pentatonic, and making use of the blue note and chromatic passing tones. Of course this could also be considered a D mixolydian mode with G Major pentatonic. However, most beginner guitarists learn G Major and E minor pentatonic first, so I decided to keep it simpler. They are the same notes in the end and the harmony being played will dictate the sound.
