Already since 2005, the heart-shaped coins from the Happy Valentine's Day collection have been decorated with SWAROVSKI® elements. The 2022 issue also remains true to the popular concept and presents several elements that fit perfectly with the theme of "love". On the coin is a large heart incorporated, which floats above crystal clear water. The heart is made of a pink SWAROVSKI® crystal and is surrounded by 3 water drops, which are made of clear SWAROVSKI® crystals. The left side of the coin depicts a high relief motive made of even more water drops. The illustration forms a timeless image of love with a modern twist. The reverse of the coin presents the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the inscription "COOK ISLANDS" and the denomination "5 DOLLARS".
