This has 4 buttons that change settings somehow, I don’t know the full deal with that yet but they make beeps in high E-flat with undertones of F-sharp and B. I meant to put this in the video but forgot. The audio artefacts in this remind me of a circuit bent toy keyboard I have. It also has two buttons in another place, one to change the volume and one to go through the tunes.
I do wonder who the composers are who make the arrangements for the doorbell melody ICs because I find that some of them have harmonically the same arrangements, for example this has harmonically the exact same arrangement of Star-Spangled Banner as the other two doorbells I have with it on them.
This does sound like it is distorting in parts, but I made sure it wasn’t clipping. I think that is just audio artefacts. The toy keyboard I was talking about does it as well.
