Swanage railway again hold the Autumn Steam Gala once again, hauling services on a special timetable along the line and including the Norden - River Frome section.

This was my first gala at Swanage on the autumn setting since 2016. Having no gala at 2017 and missed the 2018 i had to return again!

A very strong 6 loco line up with including one visitor. A very southern event feels the echo of Bournemouth Shed feel. Three engines return to the railway after repairs over the year including two operational steam fleet. The day i've visited no.31806 failed in the morning with a temporarily replaced by an 1960's BR Green Class 33 no.D6515 only for one round trip.
