Today we are testing out a new contender in the robotic landscaping world: the Blix HC from Sveaverken. With a 120-year history in Swedish farming, Svea is bringing heavy-duty tech like LiDAR, GNSS (GPS), and AI vision to residential yards.
In this video, I unbox the Blix HC, walk you through the hardware (including those wild wheel spikes!), and show you the full setup process using the SveaMow app. We’ll map out a 1/4 acre test zone, set up "no-go" areas around pine trees, and see how the mower handles obstacles and perimeter edges.
