In this video I review the SVBONY SV535 105mm F2.8 and take a close look at its real-world astrophotography performance.
The lens delivers excellent full-frame star quality, a very fast F2.8 aperture, native Sony E-mount compatibility, and exciting creative potential thanks to its extreme wide field of view.
At the same time, the extremely short 24mm backfocus comes with a major limitation: no filter wheel support. This raises an important question about who this lens is actually designed for.
I share my honest impressions, show image results, and explain where the SV535 shines and where it falls short.
