![Fair Food: The Sound Track - Super Midway March
Fair Food is an independent documentary created by Doug Podd, a commercial director who produced the project under his company Bottom-Line Productions in 2002. From what little there is online, its unclear whether or not Fair Food was completed or released.
This CD was found in a thrift store in Carrollton, TX and was purchased through MP3.com. Excerpts from the CDs insert read:
My part [Mark R. Gaston] was creating music that was like a roller coaster that kept a personm moving. The music in the CD will create a sense of being on a roller coaster even without the film images keeping you on the edge of your seat in anticipation of what is coming next. ... Choosing titles for the music was fun and you will see many of these images in the movie. Caroline McKee was an absolute joy to work with and her sense of humor kept us all going. ... This CD, Fair Food, is a shortened version of the original music script. It has its roots in Hip-Hop and Techno styles. The roller coaster effect is thrown in just for fun while designing the changes of the music. I hope your enjoyment in listening is as much fun, and enjoyable as I had creating it. Many blessing to all from the house of the Eagle.
From Mark R. Gastons original MP3.com upload of the soundtrack:
Fair Food is a documentary on the State Fair of Texas shot in the fall of 2002. This movie is about the food, the families who cater the food, the children who show their animals, and those who participate in food contests.
