🔴 Polar H10: geni.us/hnXc
Description:
Bigger display: 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED at 466×466, larger than Race (1.43") and Race S (1.32").
Slimmer profile: 12.5 mm thick versus Race at ~13.3 mm (Race S is thinner at 11.4 mm).
Size and diameter: 49 mm case, same as Race, larger than Race S at 45 mm.
Weight change: 76 g steel / 65 g titanium, lighter than Race (83/69) but heavier than Race S (60/53).
Case construction shift: more composite/plastic mixed with metal to cut weight compared to the more metal-heavy Race.
Lens and durability: sapphire crystal with 100 m water resistance; tougher on paper than Race S (Gorilla Glass, 50 m).
Redesigned back plate: new housing that supports the updated optical heart-rate system.
New optical HR hardware: Suunto’s most accurate OHR to date, replacing the Race/Race S sensor.
New processor and memory: upgraded MCU (Ambiq Apollo 510 shown) and larger memory for smoother UI and feature headroom.
New charging interface: a snap-in charger that locks on more securely than the Race/Race S puck.
Dual-band, all-systems battery life: up to 50–55 hours, matching or slightly exceeding Race and clearly ahead of Race S (30 h).
Single-band battery life: up to 65 hours, on par with Race and ahead of Race S (40 h).
Power-save battery life: up to 200 hours, on par with Race and ahead of Race S (120 h).
Smartwatch battery life: up to 16–18 days, similar to or slightly above Race and roughly double Race S (~9 days).
Maps and storage: free offline outdoor maps with 32 GB storage like Race/Race S, but more usable thanks to the larger screen.
GNSS and outdoor stack: dual-band L1+L5 across GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, plus barometer, fused altitude, compass, weather—same core toolkit as Race, above Race S mainly in WR and lens toughness.
Sports and ecosystem updates: 115+ sport modes with 22 new profiles, Suunto Coach and ClimbGuidance retained, compatibility with Suunto HR belts and third‑party sensors, and direct voice prompts when paired with Wing 2 headphones.
