I wanted to see what White Hill would sound like on a glockenspiel, so I gave it a shot. I ended up double-tracking the glockenspiel and pitch-shifting one track down an octave to make it sound creepier.

So I raided the music section at a local toy store, and I left with a one dollar tambourine, a jews harp, and a diatonic melodica. The only practical application I could think of for these three instruments was Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie music, so I decided to record this tune, which had been stuck in my head for a few days.")

O hai YouTube.. Its been a long time, I know, but my semester just ended, so now I have a couple of weeks to record stuff before the summer session starts.
RomerNakata suggested that I do something from the LocoRoco soundtrack, so I thought Id take a stab at the main theme. I originally recorded this back in September, but I didnt like the way it was turning out, so I scrapped it. However, I recently decided to have another go at it, so I salvaged some of the old parts, and then I added a bunch of new ones. Im pretty happy with the way it turned out.")

Also, it has just come to my attention that the YouTube private message system is apparently still fully functional. I foolishly assumed that private messaging was no longer possible just because YouTube repeatedly stated that the inbox would no longer be functional after the new comment system was launched, and because there is no link to the inbox on the homepage, and because YouTube no longer sends notifications of incoming messages. Consequently, there are a ton of messages I have accidentally ignored over the past month and a half, so Im going to try to catch up on some of those over the next couple of days.
