Hopefully the warmer weather will allow us to shed our socks and crack out the pumps and sandals. With hot feet comes the inevitable smell that no-one likes to talk about, but odour control inner soles are impractical in sandals and don’t last for very long.
Corinne Bradd introduces a more sustainable, and certainly prettier, shoe deodoriser that can be stitched up in minutes and filled with granulated activated charcoal that will magically suck out any foot odour overnight.
Not only do they look lovely, they can be refilled once the charcoal has exhausted itself. Three teaspoons of activated charcoal in each pouch will last for weeks, and if you save your old charcoal in a jar you can pop it in a sunny spot for a few weeks to release the smell and it can be reused a couple of times.
No more throw away, predominantly plastic, inner soles going into landfill.
