Our Modal Shift Programme, being trialled in our Southampton terminal, is incentivising cargo owners to explore how rail freight can help deliver more sustainable supply chains. Since September 2023, our customers and supply chain partners have saved approximately 4,500 additional tonnes of carbon dioxide by choosing rail over road - the equivalent of 13,500 lorry journeys.
