More than 50,000 registered voters in El Paso County are currently listed as “suspense” voters, but election officials say the designation does not mean those voters are unable to cast a ballot.

As of Sept. 1, 50,386 voters are on El Paso County’s suspense list out of approximately half a million registered voters, said Melissa Martin, elections coordinator for the El Paso County Elections Department.
