It’s one of Australia’s worst medical disasters.

During the 1970s, 80s and 90s, up to 20,000 Australians contracted hepatitis C and/or HIV after being transfused with infected blood.

Hundreds died and to this day survivors live with serious medical consequences.

One of them, Tristan Stanley, was infected as a young boy.

Armed with new evidence, Tristan is leading the latest push by survivors for an apology, and accountability.
