One year later, Raif Rashed, a survivor of the October 7 attacks in Israel, asks that everyone: “Just be kind. Be good people.” Rashed and his brother were serving Druze cuisine at the Nova Music Festival when Hamas launched their attack. On Sunday, Rashed, who is Israeli-Arab and of the Druze faith, opened a food stand, Taboonia, at the Upper West Side's Grand Bazaar.
