This was a personal exercise for me to see if my preps and skills where up to date. It was geared toward a winter survival scenario with a broken down car in the area i travel in most of the time.
I am not going out in a t-shirt, building shelters that takes 6-8 eight hours just to get viewers.
This exercise that is true to my surroundings and what gear i have at hand in a situation like that. So for this scenario it is all about my minimal car kit.
The idea behind the kit is that i can use it even if i am hurt or sick and i do not have to be on the top of my game so to speak. It should only take me 5 minutes to get in to a safe position as a viable solution for survival everything else is just poor planning imho.
Survival is a numbers game, and i want to have the numbers on my side if i should find my self in a blizzard or break down.
In short it is real life survival and not the Hollywood survival that brings big numbers of viewers.
I hope you enjoy:o)
