On the 24th of February, 2024, the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine from three different directions. Millions fled in Europe to keep their families safe. My wife and my conviction was to stay. We went to live with her elderly parents, and three months later discovered that my mother-in-law had stage four cancer. We nursed her in their home for three months, helpless as her life drained away. This short video is our story and some words of encouragement for others who are dealing with tragedy in their lives.
