Surveys of coral reefs across the Dampier Straits of Raja Ampat, Indonesia, while on a 10-day liveaboard cruise, January 2026. Dive sites, from west to east, are Melissa's Garden, Galaxy, Citrus Ridge, Sawendarek, Wai Island, Cape Kri and Mioskon (50 km across). See map at beginning of video.
Note that the reefs on the east side, especially Mioskon, show evidence of damage from recent heatwaves, but appear to be in the process of recovery.
