What an absolutely whirlwind of a day! We started our morning in Maryland, racing against the D.C. traffic to get Kira to her big live TV debut. It is Kira's birthday weekend, so what better way to celebrate than by making her a television star? We made it just in time to the studio where Kira got to experience the professional green room life before heading onto the set to promote the Super Pet Expo. She was such a natural under the lights, showing off her "princess" pose and helping me demonstrate some essential training tips for viewers at home.
After the excitement of the city, the weather took a turn that made our Siberian Huskies feel right at home—it started snowing in Virginia! We went from 85-degree weather last night to a snowy setup day at the mall. We spent the afternoon getting the Snow Dogs Vlogs booth ready for the Super Pet Expo, dodging the sleet, and even finding a little time to explore the mall and the arcade with the crew. It’s definitely a trip to remember, and we are so excited to meet so many of you this weekend.
The day ended the only way a good vlog should: with a huge plate of Maryland barbecue and two tired Huskies squeezed into one closet for bedtime. Even though we traveled far from Michigan, it seems the "snow dog" luck followed us right to the DMV area. Life is short, make memories with your dogs—even if those memories involve freezing while setting up a booth in the snow!
