Crundle always wanted to be a Warden like his dad when he came of age, and protect the village of former archology dwellers who raised him. Of course, when he found his village burned to the ground and everyone he knew dead, life took a turn for Crundle. Forced to embark into a world he knows only through horror stories and cautionary tales, he is forced to reckon with his changing body and come to terms with the fact that he's not that different from the other denizens of Qud.

Also Chris just likes to play Caves of Qud, and doing a bit of a themed run around body horror, mutations, and a rule about never using map travel just sounded like a good time!
