The Tenth Annual World Dog Surfing Championships brought veteran and rookie surfing dogs together to catch waves and compete for the top prize. The furry competitors were divided into categories based on their size and rigorously judged on several factors, including how long they stayed on the board, the size of the wave, their confidence, balance, and any tricks they attempted. The winner of the small dogs competition was Bradley "Shortboard" Cooper, who hit the water sporting a bright orange life vest. Iza Surf Dog, wearing a pink vest complete with a shark dorsal fin, took home the win in the medium dogs competition. Finally, Instagram star Rippin' Rosie secured the victory in the large and extra-large dogs category. The popular event took place at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica, California, where hundreds of spectators gathered to cheer and applaud the surfing pups with every successful ride.
