Some things I left out of the video (I try to keep these videos short):
The game features a database that goes pretty in-depth. Judging by it and the trailer I found, eventually you get more weapons to use. I think the probe has more uses later on as the manual talks about utilizing an arm. Also the thing can lay mines but I'm not entirely sure when that would be useful.

Before making this video I had looked up the game out of curiosity. At the time I had no intention of doing a video. It wasn't till I saw that there were no gameplay videos that I decided to cover it. Here are the two videos I found:

Also getting a thumbnail of this game was impossible since every piece of it is so reflective....did the best I could do. If you didn't know, the thumbnails are taken with a Polaroid OneStep from 1986.
