EDC is helping young people become educated, economically productive, and civically engaged, empowering them to create better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities. In Mali, for example, EDC's mobile learning applications provide support in and out of the classroom to provide basic education, interactive audio support for classroom instruction, digital textbooks, and text messaging to obtain information such as agricultural market data.
