Ajloun in northern Jordan is home to rich olive groves and a proud tradition of olive oil production.

Thanks to support from the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF), co-funded by the EBRD, EU and the GCF, we have helped the Ajloun olive press facility install a high-efficiency cold-press production line.

This investment has cut electricity and water consumption, saved 6.4 MWh of energy and avoided 1.72 tonnes of CO₂ emissions while using olive pomace as fuel.
