The plaintiff says she and the defendant were such close friends that she served as maid of honor at the defendant’s wedding and was supposed to become her son’s godmother. She claims they had a falling out and is now suing her former friend for several unpaid cell phone bills. The defendant says she no longer wanted the plaintiff to be her son’s godmother because the plaintiff adopted a destructive lifestyle by dating a drug-addicted felon. She claims she had to stop working because of a high-risk pregnancy and therefore could not pay the phone bills.
