The PCBs came through from PCBWay.com/?from=atomic a couple of weeks ago and I've finished (are they ever really finished?) the project!
It all works pretty nicely, there are some definite improvements that I want to make - I've detailed them at the end of the video.
0:00 Introduction
0:21 Assembly
2:41 The Software
4:07 What could I have done differently?
6:07 The full glory of the finished project
6:15 The full glory of even bigger LED segments!
The previous videos in this series are available on this playlist: youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5vDt5AALlRfL94OlxlUywtr1JFbjoQK_
The microscope I'm using for the close-up shots is available here (affiliate links):
Amazon: amzn.to/3McqKtl
AliExpress: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_AtThvb
The low voltage LED filaments are available here (affiliate link)
https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_AVLHsm
I wouldn't bother with the high voltage ones - they are a bit of a pain.
The source code is up on GitHub (github.com/atomic14/supersise-seven-segment) - it's a bit rough and ready but should work.
I’m using the code from here for NTP: randomnerdtutorials.com/esp32-date-time-ntp-client-server-arduino
