A quick PMV for my Broken Sky au! In this au, instead of Ashfur possessing Bramblestar, its Cloudstar. He takes revenge on the clans for their exile of Skyclan all those moons ago, and their continued mistreatment of his clan.
I don't care about Ashfur or his pity party over Squirrelflight, it was really disappointing to see the broken code head that direction when it had such a strong opening! Like c'mon Cloudstar is right there and he has a strong and intriguing motive! Bring my boy back and let him get his revenge!!

I think this is the most hours I’ve put into a map part! Insanely proud of this one :33! This was originally supposed to be PMV but I made the mistake of using procreate’s animation assist to map out the first scene and then emerged months later covered in blood and clutching a fully animated map part. Dunno what happened.
I figured out a lot of hacks to help me animate quicker - or at least it feels that way. I use a sketchier brush and don’t clean my lines or animations much. I hardly use the onion skin. Anatomy is mostly a suggestion when animating fast paced action or in-betweens. I also color and shade an entire frame before moving to the next one, so I don’t finish coloring all the frames, and have to go back and shade them all too. Every scene took under 5 hours to animate except one, which took ten hours, guess which one.
Story:
During a border skirmish neither characters really care about, Sparrowflight (gray one) kills Sootbranch (black n white one) in self defense. Unknown to Sparrowflight, Sootbranch is Starclan’s special little prophecy guy, so now Sparrowflight inherits the magical ghost powers and also becomes a vessel for Sootbranch’s ghostly shenanigans.

The main crew is suspicious of her and has their secret meetings, which she of course spies on cuz she can’t be stopped.

Whoo its done!!! This was supposed to be Julys pmv but it took longer than expected. This is the most animation Ive put into a video of this length and Im super proud of it! Learned a lot!
Im never going to finish my comic so I might as well spoil a little bit of it, as a treat.
This video follows Sparrowflight through a strange dream he where he meets a spirit whos trying to communicate something, but all he can make out is youre not the first. When he wakes, he finds a peculiar star marking on his paw that wasnt there before (and newly acquired heterochromia but he doesnt know that yet). Unknown to Sparrowflight, hes now host to the spirit from his dream, the next cat subject to Starclans torment and a prophecy to fulfill.

Woah he’s gonna set something on fire!
This part was so fun to do!! I hadn’t planned on this being like animated I was just gonna do something quick, but I’m glad I tried something new cuz I’m so proud of this :D!! All the animation was done in procreate and the background was drawn in medibang paint. I used the same background I had from a cancelled collab as filler but I figured hey it looks fine so I’ll keep it :3
Every time something goes wrong for Beetlewhisper they go full murder revenge mode, now with fire! That could never get out of hand !
