What’s up everyone! Miyagi here with an exciting announcement I’d like to share with all of you. This September 2018 I’ll be attempting an unsupported FKT, or fastest known time, of the Superior Hiking Trail. The 310 mile trail, or SHT as it’s known, is located in Minnesota along the north shore of Lake Superior, running from the Canadian boarder at it’s northern terminus through the Sawtooth Mountain range south to southern terminus at the Wisconsin/Minnesota border near Jay Cooke State park. The current record held by Mike Ward, is 8 days 7 hours and 59 minutes. I’m not going to release the exact date just yet, but mid-September I’ll be starting at the northern terminus of the SHT at the 270 Overlook, hiking from north to south. In upcoming videos I’ll be sharing my equipment, food and some shakedown hikes that have all gone into preparing for this challenge. Join me on an adventure of a lifetime!
