Before Yooka-Laylee came onto the scene and then disappointed nearly everyone, there was another attempt at making a throwback Collect-A-Thon platformer. With inspiration from later games like Psychonauts, as well as the classic feel of Mario64 and Banjo-Kazooie, A Hat in Time serves up the classic gameplay with more modern flairs... but is the short play time, and oddly cut features a detriment to the experience? Let's find out.
