Since "beating" Infinity-"4" gives you the credits roll and unlocks Ultra Force/Super Hardcore Mode, that's a reasonable enough definition for beating the game in my opinion. If seeing the final cutscene is part of your definition, then you'll want to "Return to Title" from Helladeck Level #3 before skipping Infinity.
