Mega Pokémon in this universe are rare and only evolve through extreme emotions. Mercy, the Mega Dragonite, is forced to work for the Church of Arceus because no other job will hire him due to the fear of his mega instability, but is taken advantage of and used to control the masses. At least he has a certified Psychic doctor to help him ease his power.
