How does Chun Li's ai cheat? like other characters she can I-frame her way through your attacks and frame skip attacks to attack you faster than normal. but what she likes to do when you're using Zangief is use her jumping down + MK to I-frame his attacks while you're on the ground or in the air.
Only way to stop her from doing that is to try to get some distance and hit her while she's just low enough so the sudden I-frame she gets while on the frame that hits you doesn't counter you.
As for her other bullshit when fighting her with Zangief you just need to hope you can time it right to hit her or her ai just goes to sleep for a few moments and you can grab her a lot like I did to wear her down even if she keep throw countering.
