So while all the cool kids have been playing their Fallouts or Black Cops I've been playing this instead. Whilst Metroid: Other M was the most dissapointing Wii game for me (though to reiterate, it was kind of fun and I didn't hate it dispite what many who watched my silly video apparently thought), Sonic Colours is definitely the biggest surprise, far exceeding my expectations (which admittedly were pretty low). Fun level designs, neat power ups and most importantly, controls that actually work in a 3D Sonic game. And they cut out all the frills and superfluous shit out of Sonic, cutting out the supporting characters and having a simplistic plot with no ancient prophecies of world destruction or hidden ancient creature of death or anything like that, just Sonic, Tails, Robuttnik and a race of little alien creatures who merely replace the role of the captured little animals from previous Sonic games (Unless you bought the DS version apparently, in which case ENJOY YOUR BLAZE THE CAT AND SILVER THE HEDGEHOG).
