Lofthouse Sugar Cookie Recipe

Ingredients
1 2/3 Cup cake flour
3/4 Cup powdered sugar
1/2 Cup Shortening
1 Stick butter softened
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 teaspoon salt

Beat the butter, shortening, and powdered sugar until fluffy. Add in the egg and extracts and mix. Add in all other ingredients and mix just until combined.
Chill dough for atleast 2 hours.
Roll dough out in balls, press down until flattened, and bake at 375° for 6-8 minutes. DO NOT LET THEM BROWN.

Ingredients
2 Sticks butter softened
2 Cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-4 Tablespoons milk
Sprinkles
