This glitch allows you to move along the Z axis in Super Smash Bros.
-Choose Mario or Luigi.
-Go to any stage with a vertical solid object and go up to the edge of it.
-Press and hold the shield button.
-While holding, tap the control stick toward the vertical solid object (A pipe in this video), then let go and keep repeating this step. You can only go so far when doing this glitch. The approximate maximum distances are shown in the video.

Notes: To go closer to the screen, roll against something from left to right. To go further from the screen, roll against something from right to left. Some stages only permit one direction, such as Sector Z, which only has a vertical wall for the entrance of the ship, so you can only go further from the screen.
