I combined the ability to overdrive the capture rate of FRAPS with the giddy fun of synthesizing new tween frames using motion vector analysis. The end result is a fairly smooth 8x slowdown of Half-Life: Lost Coast gameplay footage.

The FRAPS overdrive accounts for 400%, and the motion synthesis doubles it to 800%. I tried to double it again to 1600% but the motion synthesis artifacts were too jarring IMO.
