This is the most instruments I've ever had in one project file at once - 115! And with stuff like the drumbeat and EBMusEd footage synced up to it afterwards. I don't think I've ever done anything like this before. Yet another example of something that started off as a silly idea for SilvaGunner, but then ended up morphing into something I'm actually proud of.

AddMusicK is so cumbersome to me, Im so spoiled by EBMusEd and other trackers. This is something I did in the summer of 2020 and never posted because the game hadnt come out yet. Back then, AMK was the only way I could use custom BRRs in a song, so I made do, and ended up rocking it pretty well!
The composer of the song was Hitoshi Sakimoto, who is best known for his work on Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII.

Im still really hyped for this game. I originally wanted to wait until the release date to post it and have it be a surprise (since the developers got a kick out of the first cover I did), but since it sounds like it might be a few more months away, I thought Id post it now instead. I think its a nice surprise either way :)
This song was so much fun to cover. If I ever start composing my own music, I hope I get this good.

I was originally going to ask someone I know to sing the Japanese lyrics (!) alongside this, but they were too busy, so I just added some extra channels...which wouldnt be possible on a real SNES, but whatever, it sounds awesome. Most of these instruments were ripped from Chrono Trigger and EarthBound SPCs.")

Heres a cover from another indie game Ive had my eye on for a while! Its OST uses mostly FM synth, and I recently found the same kind of laptop I had as a kid for cheap off of eBay, so I figured Id try something using its OPL3 chip!
