After failing so much attempting to do Dark World 3, I skipped it and started this.
It may have been easier compared to it, but that's not saying much. I don't know if it was me or the stages but I got killed a large number of times before I finally finished this.
Number of failed attempts recorded: 60+

![Elden Ring - Godrick [Level 1 - Spiked Caestus / No Damage]
Oddly enough, Godrick is easier than Margit due to many of his attacks having large windups. Add the free damage opportunities of him screaming and the start of the second phase, and it makes him feel like the sub-boss rather than the actual one for Stormveil Castle.

![Grounded 2: Masked Stranger [Whoa! difficulty - No damage] (Way of the Fist)
Early Access Release v0.1.3.0 (2013975)
Notice that I said Way of the Fist, rather than Way of the Lil Fist.
This fight will take place with bare knuckles *only,* or the equivalent of beating your enemies with chip damage.
0:00 - Waiting & Intro
0:20 - Masked Stranger (Phase 1)
3:25 - Masked Stranger (Phase 2)
8:46 - Bandit (Phase 3)
13:18 - Menus
However, fists need a shield of some kind to block, so I opted to use several Weevil Shields for these reasons:
- Its one of the few light shields that has no secondary effect that reflects damage back to the attacker. Ironically, the secondary light shields with positive effects do more damage than plain ol fists.
- Its a light shield, which means that a reduced amount of damage would be inflicted on a normal block. Perfect blocks or bust.
- However, they have low durability. A broken shield is useless, and its impossible to use only one unless you plan to repair it during the fight. Switching to a newer one tends to be safer due to how the menus can interact in-game.
After completing this, Id say that phase one and Bandit (phase three) are the more interesting parts of the fight. She repeats her patterns during phase two too much due to the spicy nova, but its otherwise more of an endurance test.
-
Items and Equipment:
Strong Hand - Bare Knuckle Edition
Weevil Shield - The most basic light shield in the game. Due to its low durability, several are needed to complete the fight in this manner.
No armor nor trinkets were used.
-
Food and Drinks:
Mushrooms and Dew Drops - For hunger and thirst, respectively. Its actually possible to die from these due to the length of the battle. Otherwise, no buffs were used at all.
-
Mutations:
None
