Something a little more laid back and under the radar here, I wanted to create something that felt a little more welcoming and cozy through its mainstream nature. Using the Overworld theme from Super Mario World was perfect for me as it's something I remember perfectly for some reason.
Not only that but this is intended to be the first of my part in this year's Nintendo Lofi Megamix, which I'm super excited for. I hope this little tease of what's to come is good enough for now, especially since you'll be able to listen to it wherever you stream music in the coming days!
Also this is kind of random but I only recently realised that Super Mario World is almost 33 years old. If I'm correct, that makes it the oldest game I've remixed.
